The Jeep had been used by a fire department. They had added steel decking in the back to mount a water tank for putting out brush fires. With this metal on metal for many years, this was the only area of the Jeep that had some rust. In addition, there was some play in the steering column so we pulled it and put a simple rebuild kit in it.
